Agricultural Conservation Easement Program

Agricultural land easements protect the longterm viability of the nation’s food supply by preventing conversion of productive working lands to nonagricultural uses. Land protected by agricultural land easements provides additional public benefits, including environmental quality, historic preservation, wildlife habitat, and protection of open space.

Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP)

Through CSP, participants take additional steps to improve resource condition, including soil quality, water quality, water quantity, air quality, and habitat quality, as well as energy.

Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP)

Eligible program participants receive financial and technical assistance to implement conservation practices, or activities such as conservation planning, that address natural resource concerns on their land.
