Walker County Forestry and Wildlife School for Landowners
The Forestry and Wildlife School for Landowners will be held on Thursday and Friday, June 16 and 17, 2016 in Rogersville, Alabama. Topics will be Managing Crops for Water Fowl, Wildlife Mgmt. Concepts and Terms, Timber Management in Bottomlands, Planting Trees & Creating Wildlife Openings, Moist Soil Management, Aquatic Herbicides, Waterfowl ID, Beaver Control and Water Control Structures for Landowners. There will also be a field tour at the Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge. CFE units will be available to Registered Foresters that attend the workshop.
Early registration fee by June 1, 2015 is $35.00, late registration fee is $40.00, spouse registration fee is $20.00.
